More than Rp 2 Billion Raised, Penjelajah Timur Hand Over Donation to Plan Indonesia

The Penjelajah Timur gathered again. This time not to run, but to symbolically hand over donations worth Rp 2,015,123,708 that have been collected since August 17-November 10, 2023, to Plan Indonesia.

The evening became a warm moment full of intimacy and reminiscing the struggles of the Penjelajah at the end of October 2023. On this occasion, the reporting of the Jelajah Timur 2023 series of activities was also conveyed, video coverage was shown, sharing sessions from the Penjelajah and the Jelajah Timur 2023 community, also planning for the implementation of donations that will be carried out.

Supporting partners were also present to receive tokens of appreciation from Plan Indonesia as a form of gratitude for the support that has been given.

The donations collected will be used to build clean water access facilities in three villages in South Central Timor, East Nusa Tenggara, namely Naileu Village, Bernam Village and Oelet Village, which are currently still very difficult to access clean water.

Starting from the construction of clean water facilities such as boreholes, hydram pumps, reservoirs and piping to various clean water project management training, clean and healthy living training and last but not least, spring conservation activities with the villagers.

Our deepest gratitude to all Explorers, donors, community and supporting partners who have become pillars of this goodness. Together, we have opened opportunities for a better future for children in East Nusa Tenggara!

See you at Jelajah Timur 2024!
