Ghea Resort by Amanda Janna Releases Purity Collection, Partners with Plan Indonesia to Support Girls’ Education
23 March 2025
Jakarta, March 23, 2025 – This Ramadan 2025, Ghea Resort by Amanda and Janna Soekasah present a special collection titled “Purity” that highlights the beauty and deep meaning of the Lotus motif. Lotus was chosen because it symbolizes Purity, Liberation, and Rebirth, values that are in line with the essence of Ramadan and the spirit of change.
For this collection, Amanda and Janna collaborated with their friend and talented female artist, Samira Roolos, who translated the Lotus motif and Ghea Resort’s signature elements into paintings. The paintings were then adapted into exclusive patterns and designs.
Like the Lotus flower that grows from the mud but remains clean and beautiful, this collection reflects the strength, freedom, and opportunity and equality for girls to blossom into the best version of themselves.
Collaboration with Plan Indonesia to Support Girls Education
More than just a fashion collection, “Purity” is also a manifestation of Ghea Resort’s concern for girls’ rights and equality. For this reason, Ghea Resort collaborates with Yayasan Plan International Indonesia (Plan Indonesia) in supporting Girls Fund, an initiative that focuses on education, empowerment, and protection for girls, especially in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Girls Fund has three main areas of funding:
- Girls Education – Scholarship program for girls to enable them to get proper education.
- Girls Initiative – Support for youth organizations in women empowerment.
- Safe Space for Girls – Infrastructure development that provides safe spaces for marginalized girls.
Dini Widiastuti, Executive Director of Plan Indonesia, appreciates this collaboration as a real step in supporting girls’ rights. “Every girl has the right to dream and get a proper education. However, for many girls in NTT, access to education is still challenging. Girls Fund is here to bridge this gap, opening doors for girls to achieve their dreams. Because when one girl gets an education, she not only changes her own life, but also her community,”.
To date, Girls Fund has supported and provided better educational opportunities for seven girls from NTT. As beneficiaries of the Girls Fund, Ningsi and Ocha, girls from NTT, share their stories: “The girls of NTT are great. But many don’t dare to dream too high because they don’t have the confidence. On top of that, access to scholarships is still minimal. I hope more of my friends also receive the same educational opportunities through Girls Fund”.
Through the “Purity” collection, Ghea Resort wants to invite more people to participate in supporting Girls Fund so that more girls can achieve a better future. The campaign is realized through the ‘Rise and Bloom’ initiative, inspired by the Lotus flower as a symbol of growth, hope, and change.
As a form of tangible support in this initiative, 10 percent of the sales of the “Purity” collection will be donated to support the Girls Fund. In addition, Plan Indonesia also opens opportunities for the public to donate through plan-international.or.id/ffy. With this initiative, it is hoped that more girls will have the opportunity to grow, develop and shine in the future.
Previously, the series of events to launch the “Purity” collection began with a talk show featuring Amanda and Janna Soekasah, Dini Widiastuti, and Ningsi and Ocha as representatives of Girls Fund scholarship recipients. There is also a booth exhibition featuring the Ghea Resort by Amanda Janna collection and will take place from March 23-April 13, 2025 at Central Park Mall.
