Family Run at Run for Equality 2026

Plan Indonesia is back with its inclusive running event, Run for Equality 2026. Carrying the spirit of “Equal Steps, Equal Play,” this Family Fun Run is set to take place on July 26, 2026, at Senayan Park, Jakarta. Offering distance categories of 3K, 5K, and 10K, this event serves as a platform for parents, children, and communities to exercise together while celebrating togetherness in a safe, cheerful, and inclusive environment.
This year’s Run for Equality marks the continuation of an exciting journey that has run for four consecutive years. Previously, the joy and message of inclusivity from this fun run successfully reached various regions across Indonesia, including Lombok, Jakarta, and Bandung. Every year, thousands of multi-generational participants from diverse backgrounds gather to run and walk together, proving that an exciting and fun sports environment can be enjoyed by everyone—from children to the elderly, including people with disabilities.
Run for Equality 2026 carries a profound social mission: to create safe, friendly, and equal sports and public spaces for all children, particularly girls and children with disabilities. This event stands as proof that every child has an equal opportunity to participate and thrive without discrimination. This cause is also strongly supported by the National Commission for Disabilities (Komnas Disabilitas) and private sector partners like UNIQLO Indonesia, who believe that sports hold immense power to unite people and build children’s self-confidence.
