AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Digital Training

26 June 2026

Yayasan Plan International Indonesia is a leading organization with over 55 years of experience in advancing children’s rights and gender equality, currently driving the nation’s digital transformation through artificial intelligence (AI) focused initiatives. Operating across 11 provinces, the organization utilizes its inclusive digital learning platform, KitaKerja.id, alongside global partnerships with Microsoft, Google.org, AVPN, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to strengthen public sector efficiency, education quality, and youth employability. By integrating comprehensive modules such as Microsoft’s Copilot and Google’s Gemini, these programs specifically employ Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) transformative approaches to break down education and employment barriers for young women and youth with disabilities.

As of December 2025, Plan Indonesia has achieved an impressive track record, registering 312,440 participants (52% female) and certifying 157,297 individuals. This major impact is sustained through three primary pillars: AI for Government of Indonesia Officials (AI GoI, 2024–2026), implemented with the Ministry of Communication and Digital to upskill civil servants; AI Teach (2024–2025), which equips educators and students with practical AI competencies; and InnovAItion (2025–2026), which aims to enhance digital literacy for 15,000 young workers. Ultimately, these initiatives directly support Indonesia’s national agenda while driving sustainable progress toward Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4, 5, and 8.
